Introducing Dr. Dave
My name is Dr. David R. Golan, but I prefer to be called “Dr. Dave”. I was educated and trained at The University of Southern California, USC, from 1986-1994, completing both Medical School and a Residency in Emergency Medicine. After finishing residency, I relocated to Nevada and began my career as a Board Certified Emergency Physician at University Medical Center, UMC, of Las Vegas. UMC is the teaching hospital for the University Of Nevada School Of Medicine. In addition to practicing Emergency Medicine full time, From 1994-2005, I was also a Professor. I educated medical students, interns and residents in the areas of Family Practice, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Surgery and Emergency Medicine.
After leaving UMC, I practiced in the private sector for a few years before transitioning to Age Management Medicine in 2010. In addition to my extensive medical background, I completed the required CME-accredited Physician Training & Certification in Age Management Medicine, sponsored by the nonprofit, Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation (CERF). I then practiced Age Management at Cenegenics in both Beverly Hills and Las Vegas before starting my own practice, OptimAge, on January 1, 2013. I am passionate about Age Management Medicine, committed to delivering medical excellence, actively participate in the OptimAge Age Management Program and continue to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
